Danu is one of Aotearoa's leading technical innovators. He founded RUSH, a digital product & experience business, almost twenty years ago to develop world-class solutions for organisations including Z Energy, Farmlands, Google and Foodstuffs. A passionate advocate for ethical AI, Danu oversees the development of a software platform called R/VISION, a computer vision AI platform which is transforming workplace safety in New Zealand. R/VISION detects common safety risks like missing PPE, machine guarding issues, body postures/ stress positions, people and plant proximity violations – before they escalate, shifting the approach from reactive incident reporting to proactive risk prevention.
